Youth Ministries

The Christ Chapel Youth Ministry is very active, incorporating Pioneer Girls and Christian Service Brigade for young children, as well as Junior and Senior High Youth Groups, all meeting weekly throughout the school year. Special events are scheduled throughout the summer.

Christ Chapel is a major sponsor of Y Fest, which offers a series of outreach events for youth on Cape Cod.

Youth Group Events & Activities

The following listing highlights a sample of the activities offered to youth at Christ Chapel: barbeques, amusement parks, water parks, pool parties, white water rafting, scavenger hunts, mini golf, roller skating, lock-ins, weekend retreats, Christian concerts, coffee houses, sports outings, homeless ministries, and the 30-hour famine.

Jr. High League -  6th to 8th grade

Meets Wednesday Nights, 6:15 - 7:45
At Jr. High League you are bound to have a great time and come away challenged. On a typical night we might play some games throughout the church grounds or in the gym, or we may go for something more social in the youth room. Sometimes we just hang out, eat munchies, and enjoy the ping-pong, air hockey, and foosball tables. Of course, no night is complete without a Bible talk and discussion given by the youth pastor or one of our adult leaders.  Meets September through June.

Softball

Christ Chapel has a co-ed softball team that is part of the Cape Cod Evangelical Soft League. The season begins in April and our team continues to play as long as our victories will allow! Anyone age 16 or older is welcome to join. For more information or to sign up, please contact the church office.

Sr. High Group -  9th to 12th grade

Meets Sunday Nights, 5:30 - 7:30
Attend Sr. High Group and watch your friendships and faith grow to a whole new level. We enjoy the same facilities and activities as the Jr. High, with an additional time of singing worship songs. Our Bible learning time becomes more intensive and is done through small groups, each with an adult leader. The last night of each month features an outreach focused game night, with a Bible talk given by the youth pastor. Students are encouraged to bring their friends to this outreach night.

Summer Ministry Trips

On a three year rotating basis, Sr. High students have the opportunity to serve on a local mission trip, an out-of-country mission trip, and attend a national youth conference. These trips have brought our youth to such places as Tennessee, New Hampshire, Maine, Virginia, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
