Opportunities for Adults

Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies, Small Group discussion meetings, Adult Sunday School classes and a variety of ways to grow in relationship with others form the centerpiece of our Adult Ministries. In addition to opportunities for study and growth, we also have a variety of practical ways through which all are invited to participate in serving one another and the community at large.

Bible Studies

Classes for all ages begin at 9:45 a.m. during the school year.
There is no Sunday School during the summer.

Counseling Services

Christ Chapel is also pleased to host the Christian Counseling Center of Southeastern Massachusetts on our campus. The Center offers individual, marriage, family and premarital counseling as well as consultation and referral services. Contact the Center by calling 508-420-7313.

We also offer one-to-one care for those facing a wide variety of life transitions and crises through our Stephen Ministry outreach. Click here to learn more.

Fellowship Dinners

Fellowship Dinners are a fun way to develop and strengthen relationships with others in our church family. These organized events take place several months during the year.

Those who sign up meet with eight others to enjoy a meal at a host home during the month. The host will provide the main course, and you will be asked to bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share. Our Fellowship Dinner Coordinators will organize the groups so that all who participate will have the opportunity meet with different people each month.

Joy Group

For those 50 and above, the JOY Group (Just Over Youth) meets periodically for fellowship, entertainment and encouragement.

Life Builders

Those old enough to have children in the home (and likely to have an SUV in the driveway!) qualify for Life Builders. This group meets periodically for fellowship and fun.

Men's Ministries

Christ Chapel’s Men’s Ministry offers a number of opportunities for fellowship, prayer, and growth. These include Bible Study and Prayer Groups that meet on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings. The Men’s Ministry also sponsors an periodic breakfasts and other events throughout the year.

Prayer Meetings

Wednesday Prayer Meeting – 1:00 p.m.
We meet weekly to pray for the needs of our church family, our missionaries, upcoming services and events and needs around the world.

Moms in Touch- Resumes in September
Mothers meet at Christ Chapel during the school year on Friday mornings at 9:30 for fellowship, support and prayer.

Prayer for the Nations - Christ Chapel Library - Tuesdays from 12:00 - 1:00
Joining to beseech teh Lord of the Harvest together. Come for a moment, or stay for an hour. "Ask of Me and I will give the nations."

Small Groups

Small groups are a great way to grow in relationship with Christ Chapel family members that live in your area. Meetings generally involve a review of Sunday’s sermon or a Bible study, time for fellowship and prayer plus a snack. Special events and dinners are also scheduled throughout the year.

Softball

Christ Chapel has a co-ed softball team that is part of the Cape Cod Evangelical Soft League. The season begins in April and Christ Chapel's team continues to play every Friday night at 6:15 p.m. as long as our victories will allow! Anyone age 16 or older is welcome to join. Stephen Ministry

Christ Chapel’s Stephen Ministers are available to provide confidential, one-to-one, Christian care. They will listen, care, encourage, and pray with and for you. Stephen Ministers have been specially trained to meet your emotional and spiritual needs. Sunday School

During the school year, Christ Chapel offers two options for Adult Sunday School between our morning services. See Bible Studies to learn what topics are covered in our most recent Sunday School offering.

Women's Ministries

Christ Chapel’s Women’s Ministry offers a number of opportunities for fellowship, prayer, and growth. These include Bible Study and Prayer Groups that run from September through May and meet on Thursday and Fridays. The Women’s Ministry also sponsors an annual tea and other events throughout the year.

Moms In Touch - Resumes in September
Mothers meet during the school year on Friday mornings at 9:30 for fellowship, support and prayer.

Nursing Mother’s Room
Nursing mothers are welcome to take advantage of our Mother’s Room, where they can hear the message and observe the service behind a one way mirror. Comfortable rockers and cribs are provided.
