In Jesus' sermon on the mount, he made this claim of those who truly wanted to follow him: "In everything, do to others as you would have  them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets." (Matt 7:12).  If we can learn this golden rule, and apply it to the way we treat  each other, we may be able to show a world of people who have been hurt by gossip another way to speak the truth in love.

Gossip.  Tasty, tempting, gossip.  Many have done it, most have suffered by it, but no one is immune from its effects.  What does the Bible say about gossip?
